The scientific discipline is the most interesting to me because it provides a solid defensible conclusion. Under this umbrella I am also able to explore other avenues, such the inclusion of social dynamic when that typically would be considered subjective and an artistic outlook. Yet, I am able to use it because data can be collected to come to a conclusion.

The lack of proper citation is something I am typically worried I will overlook. Seeing these errors in another paper reinforces this idea. Moving forward I will put extra emphasis on this.

How did you evaluate the sources you used to ensure that they would be credible, valid, and reliable? Which sources did you discard?

While searching for reasorces I paid careful attention to ensure that all sources were from medical studies or scientific review. Typically indicated by the ".org" and ".edu". I discarded ones that did not include these. I chose scientific sources because of the significant role brain functions play in food addiction.

Fortunately, I have not struggled to find a plethora of scientific studies, however to narrow down the results I have been utilizing the search codes like instructed. Such as food "UPF" engineering. This has been very helpful in locating resources that are on very specific and limited avenues of my research, such as UPFs.

When reviewing my sources I made sure to verify whether the author is biased or scientific. This is important because my topic is on nueological aspects meaning the information must be scientific and credible. I considered including biased resources for a more diverse view, however the topic does not allow for much theorizing.

This emphasizes that my research is not a one size fits all over view and alludes to nuances further in the document.

My topic involves addiction which is a sensitive subject that impairs many people's judgement. Due to this it is hard to discuss the decision to consume these foods, because ultimately it is something that can easily come off as an attack on people who enjoy these foods. It is hard to dance around this.
