The hall monitoring component is great to see who is in the hall before sending a student. This allows us to avoid conflicts, or truancies that are caused by certain combinations of students in the hall.

Sometimes I don't end the pass as soon as a student returns, so it looks like the student went over their time when they really didn't. This is hard when taking attendance. I use smart pass while taking attendance. Also, if a student needs to see another teacher student should be requesting a pass. On a teacher's end if they enable sound within the smart pass tab it should alert teacher on computer.

However, if you forget to end a pass, don't worry. Our system has a built-in feature to handle this situation. If a pass isn't ended within a certain time, it will automatically end to avoid accidentally inflating missed instructional time.
