The entire ecosystem is fine, if all it's elements are in a delicate balance... 
I learned how important it is to educate our students to preserve the environment and all forms of life, as a way to envision a better future for everyone. 
Today was an unforgettable day for the rest of my life!!!

Having the opportunity to dive in the Grand Cul of Sac Marin and having observed all the beauty that exists in this sea was simply enchanting and exciting.
I relearned the importance of ecosystems and how they impact the planet's balance. Being alive implies acting and reacting on the places around us.

Caribbean Sea
What is an ecosystem?
In this visit were named three: mangrove, sea grass and corals.
Each one is plenty of life with a lot of forms: sea stars, shoals, sea cucumber, birds, sea urchin, crabs...
Unfortunately there are others forms, man made, like plastic bags, plastic botltes, fish nets, bottle caps... even an airport, garbage landfill or a huge power plant!
I remember a quote that I heard in my youth, of Baden Powell, the Scouts founder:
