"Federal Indian boarding schools were designed to take native children and erase their culture,their history,traditions and languages. A year ago, the federal goverment finally acknowledged its role in the system and while the schools have been closed are wildly condemned today,some that are still in operation are actually celebrated.

Native american's are shown time and time again how unimportant they are to the federal government. There human rights are never taken into consideration. showing just how little they care for the founders of america.

Black people just like indigenous people and woman have fought and still fight to be treated as equal beings. Black people never give up despite all they go through.

This poem showed how Native american's our founders of america had such high hopes while nurturing the once little America and how once it got big it abandoned it's founder and treated them horrible. Native american's still have hope for the future of america throughout all the hardship they have been put through.

In this speech the 39th president of the United States expresses how he loses his love for religion when they stop making everyone equal to one another. To this day many if not all woman have to fight for what they want to just be equal to the common man.

In this passages we see Gatsby want and need to get daisy(represented by the green light) and his willingness to do anything for it. He goes on to explain how we go on trying harder and harder to get something and achieve more and then one day we die.

American are know to be just like Gatsby in the sense of achieving so much but still not be satisfied.

In these lyrics stated above The Schuyler sisters speak on how woman are looked at by men and how they want woman to be equal to men. The Schuyler sisters were wealthy people but even they didn't have many to none rights.This musical was set around 1776 to 1804 where we were just gain freedom from Great Britain.

"there are no color bathroom in this building or any build beside the west campus. I have to walk to Timbuktu just to relieve myself.I don't own pearls. Lord knows you don't pay colored enough to afford pearls! and I work like a dog day in night living off a coffee pot none of you want to touch! so excuse me if I have to go to the bathroom a few times a day."

This is an great example on how black woman that did so much for our country were not treated equally. Thought history different groups of people (black people,indigenous people,woman,etc) have not gotten the credit they deserved for the work they have done for our country.

This song is a great example on how as Americans we have been taught that if you work hard enough you can win in life. That if your not constantly working and striving for more and more then your doing it wrong.
