Gossip- There was always gossip about Gatsby from the beginning all the way to the end after his death.

Hollowness of the Wealthy-The wealthy let money create there personality instead of having their own.

The rest of the book we enjoyed and thought that the themes were conveyed well and that it makes you think how you would act if you had money like them. Would I be as reckless with other people´s lives as Tom and Daisy are or would I be like Nick and Gatsby? It comes back to the new money vs. old money.
