In Japanese you would say it looks by adding sou to the end of your adjective. For example 美味しいそう (おいしいそう) to say it LOOKS tasty.

You can use this for all adjectives accept for かわいい. かわいいそう means pathetic.

This lesson is going to be about pronouns! In Japanese, all pronouns are ですincluding I, but, I has many other ways as well!

You are probably familiar with the word 私 (わたし) meaning I. This can be used by anyone! This is probably the safest option if you’re not sure what to say.

Another way to say I is おれ. This is used only by boys. If you like anime you may recognize this from one piece, ore wa Monkey D. Luffy!

The final way doesn’t have a gender similar to 私 (わたし) It is ぼく. Now ぼく is the exact same as 私 (わたし) but if you’re ever confused please use 私 (わたし)

With I over let’s talk about you. I probably has a lot more words for it but those were just some examples. I will give you two examples for you.

This one you probably know, “あなた” I think it has a kanji but I forgot what it is 😅. This one is a good one if you’re starting out speaking.

The second one (and last) that I will show is きみ. (This one also has a kanji but again 😅😅 I forgot.) This one is probably a better option. It is in a lot of media you will see and songs.

Also if you’ve ever seen a small letter, that means short pronunciation. For example: にや (niya) versus にゃ (nya) you can get those smaller letters on a keyboard by holding down the key like you’re going to change it to a p, b, j, z etc sound. It will pop up looking exactly the same just above it but it does become smaller!
