WHO AM I?

I am the only daughter among three siblings. During my childhood, I was often bullied because I didn’t have close friends and I wasn’t fond of socializing. It wasn’t until I reached high school that I learned how to socialize with my classmates and made friends. I became a bit more talkative, and over time, I grew farther from my old self.

I realized that our personality and behavior can really change as we grow older. Over time, there are indeed changes.

WHERE DID I GROW UP?

I live in Danasan, Danao City, and this is where I grew up with my grandparents and aunts. When I was still a child, my parents separated, and my mother left when I was in Grade 1. Because of that, it was my grandparents who raised me, and for now I lived with them.

WHAT IS MY EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND?

My educational background is I am studying in a tuburan cebu in a Cebu Technological University a second-year college, and the course I took was BIT majoring in Computer.

WHAT ARE MY HOBBIES AND INTERESTS?

My hobbies during my free time include enjoying solitude and silence while reading books. I’m also interested in quiet places, natures , learning about their history, and discovering beautiful places to visit. I’m curious about events, especially what might happen in my life in the future.

WHAT ARE SOME OF MY PROUDEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS?

What I’m most proud of is that I was able to manage even though I didn’t have my mom by my side. Before, I couldn’t accept it because I really needed her, just like other kids who had complete parents, who had their moms with them at school and weren’t bullied. I needed attention back then, but little by little, I’ve come to accept it. Now, I realize that no matter what, our family will never be whole again. I feel that this is the biggest and proudest thing I’ve done for myself — after all this time, I’ve finally moved on. I’ve accepted that she won’t come back, and I can now handle it without getting hurt or remembering the past.

WHAT ARE SOME OF THE CHALLENGE I'VE FACED IN LIFE?

A big challenge during my elementary years was being bullied because my mom left. I wanted to be with my dad, but he was busy and didn’t have time for me. As I grew older, we still weren’t close. This was one of the hardest challenges of my childhood — it’s really painful when parents separate because it doesn’t only affect the parents, but the children as well. It’s even harder for kids who don’t have their parents by their side, with no one to guide them properly.

HOW HAVE THESE CHALLENGES SHAPED ME AS A PERSON ?

The challenges I've faced, such as growing up without my mom and experiencing bullying, have shaped me into a stronger and more resilient person. They taught me how to handle difficult situations, navigate life without the full support of my parents, and become more independent. These experiences likely madee more empathetic, understanding the struggles of others, and gave me a sense of determination to overcome obstacles and continue moving forward. Its my ability to accept what happened and grow from it reflects my strength and ability to adapt.

WHAT ARE SOME OF MY FUTURE GOALS AND ASPIRATIONS?

My future goals and aspirations are to finish my studies, repay my grandparents for their sacrifices, and provide a good future for my two younger siblings. Hopefully, I will also be able to achieve the plans and i can explore and visit my dream place in the future.

Facts about myself: I’m hard them to understand, and I feel more prepared when I’m alone than when I’m with others. I prefer quiet places and easily get irritated by noise, Noise can triggers my frustration. I don't like public places . I prefer the night over the morning, and I like dark places. I’d rather sleep than go out.

WHAT IS MY PHILOSOPHY ON LIFE?

My philosophy in life is that despite the struggles and hardships, you have learned to stand up and continue on your own. You have managed to accept situations that are beyond your control and have learned to live strong even without anyone by your side

WHO ARE MY BIGGEST INFLUENCES AND INSPIRATIONS?

My biggest influence and inspiration are my grandma and grandpa , who raised me and taught me what is good and right. They never gave up on me and gave me the strength to keep going. They are the reason why I continue with my studies, so I can make up for their sacrifices for me.
