I would like to know how the earlier grades practice the science and engineering practices in class.

I would like to discuss how we want to communicate NGSS to teams. Should it be delivered by grade-level, or does a Staff Meeting announcement/presentation make sense? I would also like time to explore the standards to continue working on broad outlines for next year.

I want to know how to create lessons that meet the NGSS standards while also incorporating lessons our grade level has used in the past.

I am also wondering if any companies have develop NGSS curriculum yet that we could look at?

I would like to have a stronger understanding of NGSS in connection to my grade level content area, and begin understanding what the lessons will look like in the classroom with the standards as the focus.

I would like to get an idea of what is actually being taught in the grade levels at Middleton currently and what we need to change to get on track with NGSS. Are there any small changes we can make for next year to ease our way into the standards?

I would like to know about plans for NGSS district-wide course map. Also, I want to know where teachers are finding resources. Can we observe other elementary schools that have already implemented NGSS lessons? Is there an allotment of time for summer work?
