         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>1) Are there any example of QUALITY work seen in MK@West View? </strong>Age-appropriate activities carried out for children (e.g., curriculum, learning centre). Field trips to provide exposure and learning for children to link back to what they are learning in school based on the topic that they are learning. <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="http://G.R.O.W.ing">G.R.O.W.ing</a> U.P. initiatives. </p><p><br/></p><p><strong>3) How do we know our children are confident? What have we done? </strong>When we see them carrying out task independently and when they are speaking or sharing about their experiences. Children are willing to try. They feel confident doing things on their own. They ask questions to understand the world around them, showing that they are curious and secure in their ability to find answers.</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>4) Good foundation in literacy and numeracy? Where are we at? How is this seen in our centre? What does good foundation mean? </strong>Through feedbacks provided by PS teachers on their experience taking children from MK when they progress to Primary School. For example, in the last term for our K2s as they go through the transition activities we observed their ability to carry out certain task (e.g., ordering food)</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ol><li><p> Total curriculum, centre initiative (e.g. GROWing up - we are intentional in planning the programme), clear communication between teachers to standardise resources </p></li><li><p>By tapping on teachable moments, through 6 learning areas, values incorporated through learning activities. Implementation of T.E.A. Time programme.</p></li><li><p>Able to express their needs, speak in front of their peers, ask questions. As teachers, we make it a point to consistently encourage children in speaking out, using skills across different settings.</p></li><li><p>Foundational level (building/strengthening their skills) Seen through observations. Good foundation means providing children with pre-requisite skills (e.g. literacy, numeracy).</p></li></ol>]]></description>
