The U.S congress helped aid Turkey and Greece with over $400 million.&nbsp;<br>c. Marshall Plan: The Marshall plan was meant to help the destroyed European countries after the war. The plan provided food, machinery, and other materials.<br>d. Cuban Missile Crisis: During the Cuban Missile Crisis the goal the U.S had was to enact a naval blockade around Cuba.<br>e. Containment: President Truman added this policy that was directed at stopping the expansion of communism.&nbsp;</div><div><br></div>]]></description>

Both parties signed an armistice to stop the fighting which marked its ended in 1953 and Korea ended up getting split at the 38th parallel. The Space Race was a race between the U.S and The Soviet Union in which they advanced in their technology and the Soviet Union was the first to reach space while the U.S was the first to have a moon land on the moon which marked the end of the race. </div>]]></description>
