Sabiá´s Park

The Sabiá Park is a park and zoo, located in the East Zone of Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. The Sabiá Park is 1.8 million square meters and is located between Tiberia and Santa Monica districts, with access to both regions.

The Victorio Siquierolli Municipal Park is located in the Northern Zone of Uberlândia, where there are legitimate examples of the vegetation of the cerrado, with its leafy trees, twisted and bushy trunks, many colorful flowers and wild fruits, a space with toys for children, biodiversity museum of the cerrado.

In a total area of 232,300 square meters, the park is between the neighborhoods Jardim América, Residencial Gramado, Nossa Senhora das Graças and Cruzeiro.
It is one of the main sights of Uberlândia.

Sucupira Waterfall

The Sucupira Waterfall is located 17km from the city center, in the rural area, eastbound, between the BR-050 and BR-452 highways. It has a waterfall of 15.00 m. and with a wall of 25.00 to 30.00 m. width. Its waters are clear and without pollution, serving as tourist point and place of leisure for the population of Uberlândia. In its margins there are forests of natural forest, with numerous species of fauna and flora of the cerrado. On its left bank there is a natural beach of rocks and gravels where the public has access to the waterfall, and picnic. Still on the left bank of the river, about 300.00 meters below the waterfall, there is a kiosk, originally built to be a restaurant for the employees who worked on the construction of the Sucupira Water Treatment Station, which today functions as a bar on weekends and holiday.

The Municipal Market of Uberlândia is located in the Center of the city.

It was established in 1923, but was only executed in 1944 under the mandate of Mayor Vasconcelos Costa, with modern architecture for the time. It was wholesaler center until 1977, when the trade was transferred to Ceasa, in the East Zone of the city.
