My favourite word in English is "lullaby" for 2 reasons, because of its sound and because of its meaning. It reminds me of my mother putting me to bed singing a soothing lullaby to me.

"Berceuse" is the corresponding French word but I must admit it is not my favourite one in French. When it comes to French I love the word " Coquelicot".
