I'm not feeling myself lately. Super exhausted ako and overwhelmed sa lahat. I promised myself not to put me in this situation again, but here I am. I've been feeling anxious, pressured, tired, and overwhelmed. All at once. Hindi ko alam pa'no ko siya ihahandle kasi sabay-sabay na.

Another thing, I have acquaintances and friends, like I knew a lot of people for multiple reasons and purposes. But, I don't have the person who I get along with. Yung komportable ako sobra. Hindi ko ma express masyado kung sino talaga ako since I don't want them to judge me, or should I say I'm just too shy to open myself around them pa kasi. Ang hirap pala kapag wala kang closest friend/s sa college. Mapipilitan kang ibottle up yung stress at emosyon na nararamdaman mo haha.

Anyway, I'm happy about this pala. I get to express what I feel (tho very limited lang since I don't want to kill the good atmosphere here).

p. s. I am happy of the people I met this year. Hindi ko man maiparamdam sa kanila na grateful ako for them kasi tahimik ako haha but I do enjoy their company (quality time kasi love language ko char). Nagsesenti lang talaga ako ngayon kasi naiinggit ako sa bestfriend posting sa social media.

I had a dream last night.

I was approached by the ghost of my former self. My happy childhood life. It called me out and asked me some questions, checking if i am fine.

:Are you there?
It asked.

"I am" i replied.

:Are you sad?

"....Yes..."

:How does it feel like?

"Confining. Suffocating. Its like being at the bottom of the ocean. No matter how hard i scream, no voice comes out. No matter how hard i try to breathe, no air fills my lungs. No matter how hard i try to reach for the surface, it just keeps on going. Its the void of sadness, and it's always there"

Then suddenly, i found myself awake with tears flowing from my eyes. My sadness catched up with me. The bill for the happiness i felt is here.

I used to love the darkness. Seeing nothing but black as i look around, my imaginations drifting freely, the soothing silence of the surroundings allowing me to hear my thoughts loud and clear. Basically, the darkness was my comfort zone.

But then, everything changed when my heart couldn't keep suppressing the negative thoughts and emotions that i locked away. Everything leaked out and the darkness swallowed me whole...

Now, when the darkness comes, i am overwhelmed by my thoughts. The voices are too loud that i can barely focus. Negative thoughts, flying around the room, drifting freely as they harm my mental state. Dark thoughts flooding me and making me think that i may be a monster. The darkness of the night that once held me without malicious intent, now consumes me and put me through a seemingly unending agony.

Now, it became my nightly routine. The stroke of midnight comes, my anxiety attacks and my insomnia kicks in as i go through a long and painful night.

Just when i thought that this day will be filled with grief and misery. I looked up in the sky and saw perfection.

Not an ounce of cloud can be seen from the skies above. The moon, although not full, is mesmerizing and utterly beautiful.

The stars in the skies, although aren't a cluster, was a beautiful sight to gaze upon.

The beautiful painting of the gods. The night sky's scenery. A true masterpiece that heals the soul of whoever looks at it. An artwork that soothes the mind. The perfect comfort for a sad soul.

As the darkness come and the night gets deep. I struggle to sleep as i become overwhelmed by my thoughts. Months have passed and i still can't comprehend how something that's doing great has ended. How our almost perfect relationship ended up with you falling out of love.

With you i found peace and learn to look at the world as a better place. My world filled with black and white was filled with colors when you were with me. But just like how the day ends, our love ended as well and what was once a plethora of colors, now slowly fades into black.

All i want is for you to be happy, and if our separation will give you happiness, then i would have no choice but to comply. Every moment spent with you is filled with joy and happiness, but now it serves as a reminder that everything will come to an end. And with all things said and done, all i can say is: once upon a time, your heart was mine.

While you spend your days with a smile, i spend mine filled with agony and despair. All that is left with me are memories of a time where i was genuinely happy.
