Red Cross is known for revolving around leadership, service, and volunteerism,  and anything about helping the community, especially to those who are in need. As a Red Cross Youth Volunteer, I would apply what I learned during the webinar by donating goods to those affected by the recent typhoons that hit our country and those affected by the virus. I learned this through the discussion about the history of the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, the Battle of Solferino, and Jean Henri Dunant's book titled 'Un Souvenir de Solferino'. Overall, I really learned that the organization that I am hoping to be a part of is a really great and amazing organization.

I can use this in my work as a Red Cross Youth by living my life with the ideals of the organization in mind. One of the interesting insight I observed during YVOC is that around 80% of the members are volunteers, and I appear to be one of them.
