My strategy that I used in the classes is skimming-scaning because to understand the main idea in the text is neccesary indentify the key words and make questions which you have to search the answer with the help of the skimming.

Skimming and Scanning, because its very useful in every academic work of every topic. I think that its specially useful for the reading comprehension or when you have to find somo specific information clear and quickly, and they help for earn time at working. My favorite strategies are to understand the main ideas. When reading the text a second it is important to identify the main ideas. In general, each paragraph contains a main idea. and another excellent strategy would be to read in detail, since it is important to focus on the secondary ideas the details that support the main ideas. My strategy that I think is the most important is Scanning because I prefer to read the questions, when you don't have time you need do the activities very fast and you don't need read all the documents.

I think the most important reading strategy is outline because it was the best way to organize my main ideas and the rest of the text to extract only the most important of the article and with the outline anyone can do a good summary and understand any reading in our academic life. Navarrete Edwin

I think that it depends on the type of text that we are reading. For example, skiming could be usefull to understand quickly the content of a text, on the other hand the scanning could be usefull to find a specific part of the text. -Sanluis Sánchez Edgar Osvaldo

I think the best strategy for me is scanning because it allows me quickly find what I need and it also spedds up reading but sometimes I prefer skimming when I need to identify if this text is important or not. -Arcelia Alonso Sanchez

Also depending on the situation or type of information that is required we can use only one of the 2. My favorite reading strategy is Mind Mapping and make graphic organizer.
Because: I can make different categories of text or article. Soometimes I forget important parts and with this technique it doesn't happen anymore. And i learn the most important and necessary and the graphic organizer is a useful tool and it help you to memorize some difficult concepts

The reading strategy that helped me more in the course, was the scanning, because frequently I have to study for an exam in a short period of time and this technique allow me to find for specific information without the necesity of read all the text.
