         <description><![CDATA[<div>Some new smartphone map apps give out information freely on where their consumers visit most making it easy for anyone to find out where consumers live, thus breaching privacy right of the consumer.<br><strong>Solutions</strong>: These organisations could setup login details for consumers which means this information is password protected.<br><strong>Example</strong>: Apple may listen to these concerns about their map technology and ask consumers for apple ID details to view this info.<br><strong>Future considerations: </strong>Apple should take consumer privacy into account when releasing location based services in the future.</div>]]></description>

As with the Safe Harbor rules, the new Directive limits the amount of data that companies can collect, store, and process.
