10. A material witness is someone who has information that is essential to a factual claim made by the prosecution or defense in a legal action.

Narrow. This sentenced is narrow because it first uses terms that are vague like "Information" and "factual claim". These terms lack definition because we can ask ourselves, what type of information do material witnesses have? Personal? Physical? The term "factual claim" is also vague because "claim" contradicts the usage of the word "factual" since whatever is factual or not, is up for debate by the court ruling and evidence provided.

11. A dancer is any individual who dances to music in a calculated and rehearsed fashion.

Broad. This statement is broad because other words can fit into the definition provided above of what a dancer is, for example: Ballerinas, Musical theater performers, and Strippers. All of the professions listed, don't go by the word "dancers", and instead are called something else, yet, perform in a calculated and rehearsed fashion.

17. That game is going to be awesome!

Ambiguity, specifically referential ambiguity.
This sentence provided is referential ambiguity because we can intemperate the sentence in more than one way, being:
That game is going to be awesome! (video game?)
That game is going to be awesome! (sports game?)
That game is going to be awesome! (Board game?) etc.
The sentence is unclear of what type of game is going to be awesome, and with the lack of context, we can assume any of the three assumptions or more of what the sentence provided means.

6. What fallacy?
Slippery Slope.

What constitutes the fallacy?
In the video, we are shown previous inventions created for people to use in their everyday life. The introduction of the new juice squeezer in the video, was converted into a new "policy" placed in order for consumers to obtain their single drop of juice. We know video contained a slippery slope fallacy because in the book, the term slippery slope is defined as follows: "..the action or policy is likely to lead to undesirable consequences... this method of assessment involves predictions about the future, and it is important to realize that such predictions are always somewhat tentative." (Hughes, 149). The juice maker being the new "policy" made to improve the lives of others, brings some consequences to their individual futures, being that barely any juice was squeezed out from the machine, but, the labor made to squeeze the juice from the orange is reduced significantly.

Re proposal of the fallacy?
We can re propose the the argument by ignoring the high consumption of oranges leading to a small portion of juice being accumulated as an outcome, and instead show or explain the little labor that is being done to obtain a "full" glass of orange juice from the help of the machine. Therefore, our new policy would be to use the new juice squeezer and eliminate the old policy of squeezing oranges with our eye, and our new future prediction would be to squeeze an orange, one or many, to get a full glass of orange juice with hardly any labor, which we then therefore created a much more desirable outcome.

Work cited

Hughes, William, and Jonathan Lavery. Critical Thinking: An Introduction to the Basic Skills.
