To be Non-denominational means to follow Christ and his words. "And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him" (Colossians 3:17)  To be non-denominational in worship means to practice what Christ has spoken in the New Testament. Most churches choose to be non-denominational for the freedom to direct the ministry and the teachings. They believe rom anti-biblical cults to extremely solid, vibrant churches, and everything in-between, all can be found within the non-denominational services. Although they may not officially acknowledge one of the ancient creeds, the Nicene or the Apostles Creed is mostly representative of their beliefs.
 The practical part about being Non denominational is that they celebrate all important holidays as Catholics. Depending on the size of the church, there may be several service times to choose from. It helps early risers, late sleepers, and Sunday work schedules. Most churches gather Sunday morning, but not many have Saturday evening gatherings. The assembly of a non denominational meeting consists of teachings, prayer, lots of live music and singing, and the Lord's Prayer. Freedom from stricken church doctrines and old rituals attract young parishioners. 
 There has always been tension within the church about the development of the leadership system that is acceptable to the church's needs and provides guidance regarding theological means. It allows each congregation to work according to the gifts, direction, and specific concerns of that group of Christians. Sometimes there are a number of different denominations that will decide to have an assembly, start a outreach organization. Non-denominational originates from the term "denomination", it relates more closely with the present day meaning of designation. It's become large enough that this meaning is passing into common usage, however it should not be confused with other definitions. Usually a non-denominational church is congregational called "elder-led," that being said the elder board has more-decision making power. Non-denominational churches often follow the rule of allowing followers from a larger range of religious backgrounds.
