I play the bassoon and mallet percussion (like a xylophone but more). I have been playing bassoon for 8 years and mallet percussion for 6 years. Ever since I was 12, I knew I wanted to be a middle school band director because I love children and I love teaching music. This is my second and final season with the Academy and my 4th season of participating in Drum Corps International (summer marching band for brass and percussion basically).
