<title>Our Knapsack, Okra, and Moss by Kaylah Breiz</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/kaylahbreiz/c6jdr1gr89cd7y3w</link>
      <description>Directions:
In Breakout rooms of 3-4 people, each group will go through the 3 sets of questions and answer it on the class padlet. Feel free to include words but also include visuals and music.
What knapsacks/ cultural knowledge have our own ancestors passed down to us? How can we use this to create an apocalyptic and abolitionist education?
How do we create sacred space together in a classroom w/o reinforcing the life of schooling? How do we sit in the pain? (pain of the death of schooling, pain of our historical traumas, present violence, etc).
How can we embody this moss in our own teaching practices? How do we stay present and find joy in our grieving?
