2. Elanor Catton's The Luminaries
These are books I (will keep rereading during all Summers.
These are all bulky books with deliciously intricate plots...for those who love a complex cup of coffee...
The first is told in the 19th and 20th centuries simultaneously;
The second is a journey through the Mediterraneo in the 14th century;
The third is in 19th century New Zealand...
