         <description><![CDATA[<div>I already utilize the red, yellow green methods for exit tickets and groupings. I just found out about using the devices for white boards! Yay! I will definitely be implementing that and I'd also like to use the 1 to 5 strategy with hands and/or pinch cards, for students to self-assess their understanding and share it with me in a quick format. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As we prepare for the PBA, a literary analysis of a short story, students will stand in four corners in order for me to gauge their understanding of different literary techniques and narrative elements students need to know before interpreting the piece. Students who are in corner 4 (really understand) will work with corner 1 (trouble understanding) students in order to practice analyzing a short text. Corners 2 and 3 will work independently while I circulate around the room.&nbsp;&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Actually, I do have a way to get students to take ungraded formative assessments seriously.&nbsp; Use a strategy as a door key.&nbsp; This means that until they have given you responses, answers, etc., they cannot go to the next step.&nbsp; In science, this may be a pre-lab, which will determine where they start in the lab.&nbsp; In English, they may have to obtain sufficient correct responses on last night's reading to move forward with their group in class.&nbsp; In other subjects, the assessment may determine where they start their lesson.&nbsp; I can come up with more, if others want them.<br><br></div>]]></description>
