No. I feel that hobbies are not worthwhile as we could be doing more productive activities. We ‘waste plenty of time doing things we already know we don’t want to do’ which shows that we normally procrastinate by doing things we enjoy, rather than doing the things that are important. We also, at one point have to ‘get back to work’ as we would have to do the important things eventually. This shows that hobbies are not worthwhile because we could be doing the important things in the first place.

Another reason why I feel that hobbies are not worthwhile is because some hobbies may lead to a certain addiction. The article states that the ‘average american spends three hours and 43 minutes watching live TV’ which shows that hobbies have the possibilities of leading to an addiction which may affect your daily. It also states that we don’t ‘accurately weigh the value of everything else’ which shows that we would choose our hobby over other things that are more important. This suggests that people can become addicted to certain hobbies they have.

Yes. I feel that hobbies are worthwhile as they are crucial for maintaining mental and emotional well being. Studies have shown that engaging in hobbies reduces stress, boosts mood, and can even improve physical health. For instance, a study published found that people who engaged in leisure activities regularly had lower blood pressure and stress levels. The act of participating in a hobby allows individuals to take a break from the demands of daily life, providing a much needed mental reset. This can lead to incr eased happiness and satisfaction, as people have the opportunity to explore their interests and passions. Additionally, hobbies that involve physical activity such as gardening or sports, contribute to better physical health creating a positive feedback loop between mental and physical well being. given these benefits it's clear that hobbies play a significant role in maintaining a balanced and healthy lifestyle this is why I feel that hobbies are important.

yes .I think it is worthwhile to have hobbies as it is a way to destress. After school, we go back home to do our revision or homework, we might be stress. we then have our hobbies to do which are most of the time fun. This will help us feel more relax. However , we must still put a time limit on how long we spend doing our hobbies.

Hobbies are something where we can learn things from. When we play board games like chess for our hobbies, we learn how other play. When we play sports like football ,we can learn how others do nice skills. When we play mobile games like 'brawl stars' as hobbies, we learn how others dodge so good .Therefore i say we can learn things from our hobbies.

Yes. I think that it is worthwhile to have hobbies(Point). Firstly, it is a form of stress relief. As students, we would definitely have exam stress, as exams are around the corner, and we would be worried too. Hence, it is important to have hobbies, to calm ourselves down, and to forget all the stress we have. Not only that, this would be a stress-reliever, and would be helpful for ourselves.(Explanation). For instance, having a hobby would be useful in different circumstances, such as after the exams, or during the school holidays. I believe that school holidays are a way to relax, and have fun, and not to study all day, and all night. School holidays are breaks to take, from studying, and during those times, we should have hobbies, if not we would just be sitting down on the sofa, and watching television for the whole day, which seems boring, and monotonous. (Example). Hence, I believe that it is vital to have hobbies.(Link). Another reason why I think it is worthwhile to have hobbies, is that it would improve your mental health. Hobbies improve your mindset, and your creativity to try new hobbies, such as skating, rollerblading, or even skydiving. It seems fun, isn't it? Well, why not try to have hobbies? It enhances activeness, and your imagination, to fulfill your dreams. Well, passions start from hobbies. So, why not develop hobbies? Hobbies are fun, and exciting, and we can do a lot of things, other than just reading like a bookworm, studying and studying.

yes. Psychological benefits range from decreased stress and an improved mood to the development of creativity, resilience, and self-confidence. Hobbies can also offset some of the negative effects of working long hours, providing a counterbalance to your professional life. This is what google says. However, i will also like to give my own reason why having a hobby is important. We learn about being stress in cce for sls. Hobby is a very useful activity that can help manage your stress. Doing your hobby helps to make you feel happy. It also helps to improve your mental health. For me having a hobby that is physical is better than having a hobby that uses technology. This helps to improve your eyesight. Having a hobby also helps to let your mind to flow and increase your creativity. Hobby is meant for you to have a relaxing time. You should not feel preassured. the Main and most important thing a hobby is, is just for you to have fun and be on your own. You can also learn from your hobby. However of course before doing your hobby, be wise and do what you are SUPPOSE to do first.

Hobbies are often deemed unimportant by some due to their perceived lack of practicality and contribution to long-term goals. Firstly, hobbies can be seen as a distraction from more productive activities, such as career development or education. Engaging in leisure pursuits might take time away from tasks that could lead to tangible achievements or financial stability. Secondly, hobbies often require a significant investment of time and resources with uncertain returns. For instance, spending considerable money on equipment or materials for a hobby like painting or sports may not yield any practical benefits or improvements in one's overall life situation. Consequently, individuals who prioritize immediate and measurable outcomes might view hobbies as an inefficient use of their time and resources.

Hobbies also helps you deal with boredom. Sometimes when you have nothing to do at home, you can do your favorite hobby. For example my hobby is being with my friends. When I have some extra time, I will text them and ask whether they want to meet. Most of the time they agree, spending time with them takes away my stress. We always make jokes, talk about past experience, they never fail to make me laugh. Therefore, I think that hobbies are worthwhile as you can cope with stress or unhappiness with a hobby.

A hobby is an activity that we engage in for pleasure and relaxation. It is a way to take a break from our daily responsibilities and do something we enjoy. Hobbies can vary widely, including activities like reading, playing sports, painting, gardening, or cooking. Each person’s hobby is unique to their interests and personality.Hobbies are important because they provide a healthy escape from stress. When we engage in activities we love, it helps to clear our minds and gives us a break from our regular work or study routines. This mental break can lead to increased productivity and better focus when we return to our tasks.Hobbies also contribute to personal growth. They allow us to develop new skills and improve existing ones. For instance, someone who enjoys writing might become a better communicator, while someone who loves gardening can learn about plant care and environmental sustainability. These skills can be beneficial in various aspects of life, including our professional careers.Engaging in hobbies can also help us connect with others who have similar interests. This can lead to forming new friendships and joining communities, both online and offline. Being part of a group with shared passions can be very rewarding and can enhance our social lives. In conclusion, hobbies play a crucial role in our lives. They help us relax, grow personally, and connect with others. By dedicating time to our hobbies, we can improve our mental well-being and find greater happiness. Therefore, it is important for everyone to discover and engage in a hobby that they love, making it a regular part of their life.

I think it is worthwhile to do hobbies as hobbies can be a way to relieve stress and take some fun time off and also to do the activities you like. Hobbies can help you to relieve some stress and make use of your free time. Hobbies can also help you learn new activities which you may find fun and interesting. For example, my mom always tells me to have a short break every time I study for a while, and I use that time to do my hobbies, which is playing football or floorball. Whenever I play, I always relieve some stress of myself and have fun. That always helps to keep me energized to study abit more. Everyday, I spend some time to pursue my hobbies so that i can relax and have some fun. But playing too much hobbies is not good as you will spend much more time doing your hobbies rather than studying. Therefore, we should not spend lots of time on hobbies but only abit so we can still have time to have fun and relax.

Yes. If you have a hobby, you probably love doing it. Hobbies give you a chance to get involved in activities that you enjoy and help you take a load off. Very often, you’ll find yourself looking forward to indulging in your hobby after a stressful day or week at work.

Your hobby could be anything, but just having something that you enthusiastically wait to do fills you with a sense of happiness. Even better, taking time to indulge in what you love doing boosts your physical and mental health.

Hobbies also force you to take a break from your day-to-day stresses and carve out time to devote to yourself. Not all hobbies are play though – some hobbies like reading, writing, designing or learning a new language can keep you productive and instil you with a sense of purpose while having fun. And the more time you devote to become immersed in your hobby, the more satisfaction and sense of achievement you can get out of it. Therefore I think having a hobby is a good thing

Hobbies in my opinion has somewhat allowed me to find a sense of self identity with a skill or an activity spending some time in would all the more help me like how chess lets me built a creative mind with strategies of the game which can help me relax while thinking a lot with something I love to do . With all that said , I feel that hobbies are something beneficial with our daily lives and we should always put some time to it.

2) A hobby is a type of coping mechanism for some people or for other may be something they like doing which can improve a skill or a motor function with having to be relax at whilst still being able to accomplish something we would want to do , I feel that having a hobby is not only beneficial but important , most of which letting out stress is very crucial , with something we love to do , we can appreciate it better . Whether or not it’s gaming or sleeping all little activities have it’s own benefits no matter big or small , hobbies are what allows us to spend time with ourselves which in other words also helps us to cultivate mindfulness and all the more beneficial to school or work lives in my opinion .
