My ambition is to train awesome and competent youth leaders so the City Bound will never die!<br></sup><strong><sup>MY ROLE IN A TEAM</sup></strong><sup><br>In teams I tend to take leadership positions, I initiate processes, coordinate it and, as a typical control freak, lead them till the end - complete finisher. A bit of sociopath. <br></sup><strong><sup>MY STENGTHS</sup></strong><sup><br>I can and like to design learning programs together with creative tools, I'm good at including critical reflection and question of values into the learning process, I can maintain partner relations and safe space - people tend to trust me, I am resilient and highly flexible.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em><mark>MY AMBITION<br></mark></em></strong>After I complete the basic Training Course (TC) for youth leaders , it would be ideal to participate in a few C<em>ity Bound exchanges </em>as a youth leader (hopefully this summer), so as to test my knowledge, my skills and so as to gain some experience as well.   <br><strong><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM</mark></strong><mark><br></mark>Whenever I am part of a team I tend to acquire the role of the coordinator, since I feel that I possess strong organizational skills!<br><strong><mark>MY STRENGTHS<br></mark></strong>I strongly believe that one of my strengths is the ability to work with diverse groups in a non-formal learning context. Since I'm a quite talkative and calm person, I can also deal with crisis/conflicts in the team and try to avoid them whenever possible. I am also able to speak three foreign languages so far (English, French, Italian) and some Spanish as well.<br><strong><mark>MY GOALS<br></mark></strong>Even thought I am quite talkative I am also characterized by a fear of public speaking anxiety. With my experience as a youth leader, I will definitely face and perhaps overcome this fear. Furthermore, my goal is to also to meet some interesting people from around the world, have fun,  learn how to work in teams and have an impact on youth!<br><strong><mark>QUALITY CRITERIA</mark></strong><mark><br></mark>I believe that in City Bound the communication between all actors is managed effectively. Even now, in the times of coronavirus, all members, trainers and coordinators still understand the great significance of communication and try to find online ways to achieve it!<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><mark>MY AMBITION</mark></strong><br>After finishing the Youth Leaders Basic Trainer course, I would like to be a leader, this summer for example, because I am very excited to be in charge of children and help them in what they need, and to be able to develop better in English and to continue learning new cultures and places.<br><br><strong><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM</mark></strong><br>When I am part of a team, I try to make us all comfortable and participate in everything that is asked of us, as I think it is a very interesting way to meet the rest of the team and to make cohesion between people. I wish I could become one day, apart from youth leader, national coordinator.<br><br><strong><mark>MY STRENGTHS</mark></strong><br>I think I am very understanding and kind to everyone, I really like working with children because they are very cute and funny, I also really like working as a team because you meet new people and new ways of doing things. I think I am also very nice, calm and sincere, I am also good at dealing with problems and solving them. I think that the most important thing in coexistence is that we all have a pleasant time.<br><br><strong><mark>MY GOALS</mark></strong><br>I would like to meet new places in Europe and meet a lot of new people, I think that is the most important thing since I think that each person you meet has a new thing for you. On the one hand, I would like to be a leader since I had a great time explaining how to do activities and helping others in everything they need. On the other hand, I also hope to meet new languages ​​and new cultures, I find it very interesting.<br><br><strong><mark>QUALITY CRITERIA</mark></strong><br>I think that in City Bound the educators are prepared, since all the people involved in the project have the necessary information to offer a good quality event and the educators are informed about the available resources. For example, all trainers and facilitators can participate in a planned preparatory meeting before the start of the project.<br><br></div>]]></description>

I like to cooperate with people and to learn from them. I would probably see myself as a member of the team who wants to complete the task in a best possible way, but also who wants for his team to have a great time together.<br><strong><mark>MY STRENGTHS<br></mark></strong>I believe one of my strengths is persistence in pursuing to complete the given task. I have some experince from other exchange programs, and I am able  to speak two foreign languages: English and German. I think I am a creative person. I always want to do my best to help people that I work with or that are close to me.<br><strong><mark>MY GOALS <br></mark></strong>I want to learn more about the World. I want to meet new people and learn about their cultures.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>MARIA PAPOUTSAKI <br></strong><mark>MY AMBITION </mark><strong><br></strong>After completing the Youth Leaders Basic course, I would like to participate as a youth leader in a few City Bound exchanges in order to practice what I’ve learnt, gain new knowledge, cooperate with children, practice my English, meet new people and explore other cultures and places. <br><br><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br></mark>When I am a part of a team, I try to organize the team, set goals and create an environment of cooperation, so I would see myself as a coordinator who makes everyone feel free to express their ideas and feelings. <br><br><mark>MY STRENGTHS </mark><br>I believe that one of my strengths is that I can cooperate with diverse groups since I am open to different views/ideas and I stay calm in case of conflicts. Also, I am supportive and I can motivate people to be more confident and talkative. <br><br><mark>MY GOALS<br></mark>I expect to boost my confidence when it comes to public speaking and not to be so anxious. Also, I would like to improve some soft skills, interact with people with different backgrounds, share our experiences, travel and get out of my comfort zone. <br><br><mark>QUALITY CRITERIA<br></mark>I think that in City Bound the communication between educators is well-organized. As we can see, before the project educators communicated to design an effective online project for the first time and finally they ensured ways of communication between participants, trainers and coordinators during the training course. <mark><br><br></mark><br></div>]]></description>

From a personal point of view, I believe these experiences are always full of new challenges, new discoveries and a great resource to learn from the participants, leaders and trainers. <br>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br>My role in a team I think it is somewhere between a Plant and a Team worker. A plant as I am always trying to find creative solutions, to think outside the box and I don’t stop at the easy, first idea. But in the same time, a team worker as I am always ready to listen what others have to say and to admit when someone has a better idea. <br>MY STRENGTHS AND GOALS<br>I consider as part of my strengths the fact that I have an open personality, I encourage creativity, I am an honest and empathic person which helps me connect with people.<br>As goals I would like to gain knowledge in crisis management, emotional mechanisms and tools to empower and motivate youth people.<br>QUALITY CRITERIA<br>Learners influence their learning process.          <description><![CDATA[<div><mark>MY AMBITION</mark><br>I'm attending the Basic Training Course to be a Youth Leader and when this will be end, I would like to be a youth leader in several City Bounds, improve my skills and myself as a human being and also discover new cultures.<br><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br></mark>When I'm part of a team, I'm a coordinator. I always try to set team's goals and give confidence to others, but I also listen to their needs and satisfy them.<mark><br>MY STRENGTHS<br></mark>I'm a good motivator and I'm able to cheers the other participants up because it's very important in a team to have a positive attitude. In a group everyone has their own competences and match them it's an essential point. I'm openness to diversity and I think that to listen to our fellows without judging increase leadership and group bonding.<br><mark>MY GOALS <br></mark>My scheduled goals are to learn how to speak with confidence in public, learn how to be a good European citizen, never betray myself and why not travel the world in order to acquire new competences.<br><mark>QUALITY CRITERIA<br></mark>Quality criteria that cannot miss in a City Bound are definitely the communication between all actors, because through the communication members can express their needs and their opinions/ideas to other participants and find a compromise, also all actors must be involved in the continuous evaluation process in order to make it interactive. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>MY AMBITION<br><br></div><div>After finishing this course, I would like to hopefully go on City Bounds as a Leader and help Teenagers to have a good and meaningful time in their Holidays, while also learning about different European mindsets and meeting great people.<br><br></div><div>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br>Working in Teams I tend to take on the roles of Resource Investigator and Coordinator. I try to make sure that everyone is motivated, using their Talents and working together towards the goal.<br><br></div><div>MY STRENGTHS AND GOALS<br>I think that Motivating people and making sure everyone gets included and is ok in a group is a strength of mine but also reflecting when something has gone wrong and improvising when there is room for it. I am one of the couches of our robotic team at our school. I good at solving problems in unconventional ways.<mark><br>MY GOALS<br></mark>I want to get better in managing a group of young people. There is always a space for improvement. I hope that I will be able to many City Bounds, so I will be able to practise my English and also learn something about other countries.<mark><br>QUALITY CRITERIA<br></mark>I believe that all City Bound educators are always prepared and they do it with the best of consciousness and conscience.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><mark>MY AMBITION<br></mark></strong>Once I finished the CB Berlin 2019 as a participant, I thought it would have been cool to repeat this forming experience again as a YL in the next journeys. It is a great moment of teamwork and sharing, in which you can realize what it means to be part of a wider community, an entire world of different people with different talents. <br><br><strong><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br></mark></strong>I really found myself in the Monitor Evaluator description: I believe I can provide truthful judments about team members and behave accordingly, and support the squad in order to find strategical ways of problem solving.<br><br><strong><mark>MY STRENGHTS<br></mark></strong>I became known as a good talker and someone who knows how to inspire trust. I'm sure I can be an useful tool to proceed to the norming stage by understanding others' flaws and promoting their strenghts. If you need glue to connect a team, here I am.<br><br><strong><mark>MY GOALS</mark></strong><br>I expect to learn more about how I behave in this kind of environments, to empower my abilities in public speaking and of course to bond with new people coming from foreign countries.<br><br><strong><mark>QUALITY CRITERIA<br></mark></strong>A good point seems to be the one concerning the suitability of the educational methodology for the learning process.<br>It is important that these experiments of NFE succeed, and in order to do that it is required the correct approach to the subject and, naturally, the YLs' preparation.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>MY AMBITION</em></strong></div><div>After finishing this course I would like to be a leader in some City Bounds, I hope it may be possible start this summer, or living new experiences and put into practice everything I have learned.<br><br></div><div><strong><em>MY ROLE IN A TEAM</em></strong></div><div>I usually have a motivating role, also organize and distribute the tasks trying to make them fair. I really enjoy listening to and respecting all opinions to come to an agreement of all of it. The role I always take on is taking care of the group, I think taking care of myself and taking care of others is key to making everything work.<br><br></div><div><strong><em>MY STRENGTS</em></strong></div><div>I think I am very sociable and above all I try to make everyone always feel comfortable, it is very easy for me to put myself in the place of the other by empathizing a lot with this one.<br><br></div><div>As I said before, I am a motivated person, willing to listen to everyone and always looking for the best for everyone. I also have a great capacity to adapt, both in terms of environment, to groups with different needs...</div><div><br></div><div><strong><em>MY GOALS</em></strong></div><div>I would like to improve my fluency in speaking English, as in the end, I make myself understood, but I find it difficult to know how to express myself easily. Also meet different people, knowing their culture and traditions to understand other realities and situations.<br><br></div><div><strong><em>QUALITY CRITERIA</em></strong></div><div>The educational methodology selected is suitable for the learning process. Personally, I think the learning process is very important when we train future leaders. To do this process, we must use some methodology, if this is not motivating and inappropriate, the process will probably be more annoying and difficult for students, which can lead to desmotivation with them that leads to less positive results than expected. Anyway, in my opinion, the methodology we follow, given the change to online, is very motivating. I value it very positively.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><em><mark>MY AMBITION</mark></em><br>Hence my previous experiences, I aim to improve my leadership skills as well as group work. Thanks to new theories/gained knowledge implemented into action I'm tending to get better project by project.<br><br><em><mark>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br></mark></em>Through leadership/communication/personality style test I know that I'm more of Director and Supporter, but also having some features of the Promoter and Analyser because everyone got something from each area. Being aware of that, I'm trying to use it to explore the group and find my place in, at the given situation/moment.<br><br><em><mark>MY GOALS</mark></em><br>As a natural leader and underachiever, I will do everything what it takes to fulfill the task. But can't forget to take the team there together with me. Looking at the Belbine table, I could mostly relate myself with the left side of it.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>MY AMBITION<br>My ambition is to become a youth leader in order to give teenagers coming from difficult social backgrounds the chance to live the City Bound experience in order to increase their self esteem and become aware of the resources they treasure inside. And sometimes in the future I would also like to become a CB trainer too.<br><br>MY ROLE IN A TEAM<br>I took Belbin test 10 years ago and it proved that I am an Implementor. This is in fact the role I like most and I am very careful to the details and to be punctual and to help the team to achieve the goals. But if needed I can also take the leading part and I have also creative moments when funny ideas come from my mind like shortcuts or different ways of doing the tasks.<br><br>MY STRENGHTS<br>I am very patient and very resistant .I can work in difficult conditions ,I can motivate the others and I do not give up.<br><br>MY GOALS<br>I would like to gain a lot of experience in youth exchanges in order to support as many youngsters as possible to fully fulfill their potential. I also aim to bring this kind of activities to the NE part of Romania. And I want to learn to make unpopular decisions when needed, as for the moment this is very hard for me.<br><br>QUALITY CRITERIA<br>For me this would be building positive, non-judgemental relationships with young people. </strong></div>]]></description>
