How I feel about NPCC so far: NPCC is very fun and trains me in discipline, resilience, and leadership. I love NPCC.

How I feel about NPCC so far:
Honestly speaking, I made more memories in NPCC then my normal class. I feel more bonded together with my squadmates. Maybe because I knew them since Sec 1 and we went through quite a lot together like trainings, CLTC, etc.

Something I wanna tell my cadets:
Yes, NPCC might not be as fun because of the drills and things we do during CCA. However, I strongly believe that the memories made will be more fun than your normal class. Like would you get the chance to use the revolver with your classmates? No, it would be your squadmates. After the shoot, y'all will discuss about how the shoot went and what were their total scores together. For y'all to enjoy CCA and bond stronger together, I would need y'all to give me your best efforts during training sessions and give us feedback on how we can make trainings more fun for y'all. Your Sirs and Ma'ams and myself will try our best to make them come true. Oh yes, as what your Keanu Sir said, your squadmates will be there for you. So don't be afraid to make mistakes and ask for help. They will have your back trust me ;)

how i feel about npcc so far: npcc is like tough but once ur close with ur squad it’s act fun. there are a lot of fun activities that make cca interesting :)

For this week's CCA, we spent quite a lot of time practicing drills. We learnt more about some drills that we do not do as often, i.e: Hentak Kaki Cepat Hentak; Dari Kiri/Kenan Cepat Jalan; Berhenti. Some of us had not done or learnt these drills before, whereas some of us have had more experience.

I believe my squad performed alright during this week's CCA. Nothing too bad happened, we didn't get scolded, nobody really got injured. Moreover, we changed to our PT kit in time.

Although even if we did finish in time, we can still improve this timing by helping each other when we have finished changing, in which we could for instance help one another pack their uniform back in their dust covers or help pack parts of the uniform back into their bag. Furthermore, this week, we had quite the handful of casualties. I personally believe that we should have accompanied the casualties while we went back up to class to change. I would think that nobody accompanied them as we did not know that they were casualties, so in order to try and avoid this flaw's repetition, we could very clearly establish with one another who are casualties and assign people to accompany them; we could discuss this during times we are free, i.e: water breaks. From my standpoint, I reckon that we should work on improving our participation within CCA forbye. It does not go unnoticed that we typically don't have anybody volunteering for reporting, and I believe we can improve by just trying to be more confident, knowing that it's okay to make mistakes or be wrong sometimes. It is indeed easier said than done to instil these morals into each and every one of us, but I will try.

Personally, as for my Sirs and Ma'ams, I believe their way of teaching us drills or other aspects of this CCA is already great the way it is. For now, I do not feel the need for any critique and my squadmates and I appreciate how patient you are with us.

In retrospect, I enjoyed this week's CCA, just as if any other CCA session. I believe as a squad we did pretty average and there is room for improvement. I look forward to future CCA sessions with my lovely CLs :)

For this week's CCA, the training was challenging yet rewardingm we focused more on the drills: 'Hentak kaki Cepat Hental; Dari Kiri, Kenan Cepat Jalan; Berhenti.' These were the drills we learned a few months back. Needless to say, some of us forgot the timing and how to do it. The drills required us to work together as a squad and maintain a high level of precision and coordination. Although it was physically demanding, I found that the more we practiced, the more comfortable and confident we became with the drills. I was amazed at the effort some of our squadmates put in to time when no one was timing. We were split into two groups. My group did fairly well during the practising of drills. I am not sure about the other group. One thing that the squad should improve on is their confidence to time.

One of the highlights of the training session was the debrief. During this part of the CCA, we were able to reflect on our performance and identify areas where we could improve on. The debrief allowed us to give and recieve feedback in a constructive and positive manner. Additionally, the debrief gave us the opportunity to learn from our mistakes.

Overall, the drills and debrief have taught me valuable lessons that extend beyond the NPCC training. I have learned the importance of teamwork, discipline, and continuous improvement. This week's training has helped me to develop physical and mental discipline, which I believe will be beneficial in all areas of my life. I look foward to next week's training. :)

25 August 2023- Friday training

1) Wednesday's training was simply drills as it is our corporal promotion test component,it was very tiring as we needed to constantly march in the blazing hot sun. Friday was different as after our campcraft, we did an Activity with the sec 1s and 3s which was nice as we barely get to interact with our juniors and seniors.

2) We can remind each other before each training session a day or two beforehand so that we do not forget about our grooming standards or we can remind each other if we see each other in school or simply making sure our grooming is okay a day before CCA

3) Following people's instructions quickly and accurately and maintaining a level of standard at all times and taking things seriously when need be or at the very least follow orders from your cadet leaders teacher officers, cadet inspectors or squad mates

25 August 2023 - Wednesday training

1. For Wednesday's training, it was our corporal test for UI and drills test. I felt that it was an interesting way of testing our drills as it was different from last year's Lance Corporal test. However, I preferred how it was tested last year. I had made a few mistakes with the drills however I hope that it would not affect my results much. Besides that, the UI was alright but I felt that I could have cut my nails shorter.

2. As a squad mate, I can help remind my friends about the grooming standards. As a CI, they could send reminders etc. On a personal note, I think that I could be more self aware and just don't tuck out my shirt without a valid reason.

3. Discipline is being able to control yourself and know between right and wrong, and making good decisions even if it's hard. It is to help develop our character and it is key to excellence and success. Self discipline is important so that we don't need others to do it for us.

1. This Friday was the last CCA for this year, not including other events like Unit Outing. It was also our Campcraft promotion test, which I believe was manageable. I enjoyed the game we played, where we had to get into our houses and walk around the school finding checkpoints. I liked exploring the school and analysing the photos to find out where that venue was. Overall, just like every other CCA, I loved it.

2. I believe we can improve on our grooming by reminding one another. Even though it does not ensure that we will definitely remember to cut our nails or hair, or tuck in our unit tee or whatsoever, maybe if we have enough people that remind others to fix their grooming, maybe just maybe one day we will all have proper grooming.

3. Discipline to me is the same as self-control. Being able to know what is right and follow instructions of others yet holding morals to yourself to not follow blindly; picking up trash when you see it on the ground even if it's not yours; looking at your mistakes from a positive point of view to improve yourself. Discipline can be defined as many things, but I personally would say that if I described it in a word, it would be self-control. I can show it by listening to instructions that I am given and doing what is right like standing up for those that are being ridiculed or helping out others.

1. For wensday training and test it was the first time I tired to stabilise my emotions as it was a test but everyone has mixed feelings and all of my team mates were talking about what we were going to do.

1) this Friday was the last day of CCA but it was fun. I get to bond more with the sec 3 and sec 1s. We went around school to do some task and find checkpoints tgt.

2) we can remind each other constantly. If they don’t listen, ask them to write down about what they did wrong. (e.g ‘tucked in shirt’) write more than 5 times.

3) I feel like discipline mean to me is being on ur own without help. And having the sense of maturity, not acting like a kid. I show it by doing work without help or whenever there’s a problem just move on.

23 and 25 August 2023 - Wednesday and Friday Training

On wednesday, it was our corporal UI test and i had forgotten to put my black socks and beret into my dust cover which resulted in me not being able to wear my full uniform but instead my PT Kit and having to be punished for my actions. One thing that I could have done / improved on was to check whether all my full uniform parts were in my dust cover / bag. On friday, it was our corporal campcraft test. I remembered how to tie most of the knots but not all of them and i forgot almost all of the family of the knots as i was too focused on having to tie the knots.

I think we ourselves should take note of our own proper grooming standards as i think it reflects on how a person is. As for our squad mates, we can tell our squad mates that their grooming is not up to standard and should cut their fingernails, cut their hair, tuck in their shirts, etc...

Discipline to me means that we should do what has to be done instead of doing what we feel like doing. Some ways we can show discipline is by showing up to CCA even though we dont feel like attending CCA, wearing full uniform even though we dont like it / dont want to wear it.

25 august- friday training

1. friday's training was the last part of our corporal test and i was initially afraid i won't be able to remember the functions and how to tie the knots however, after the test, i was glad to know that we were playing games together with the sec 1s, the games were fun and interesting and i had a really good time.

2. as a squad, we will take more initiative to remind our squadmates to tuck in their shirts etc. and perhaps if any of the CLs see us doing something wrong more than once, the punishment that should be given will be given, doing this will allow the squad to know how bad the consequences when we do not follow the rules, and therefore, not repeating the same mistakes again.

3. discipline in my opinion is knowing when to do the right thing, and having self control. i can show it by not making a fool of myself during training and take the trainings seriously.

25 August 2023- Friday's Training

This session is the last session of the rest of the year. It is also on our campcraft promotion test, I personally find this session a little bit more fun than the other sessions because, we get to bond with the sec 1s and sec 3s while completing challenges. Even though some sec 1s did not really wanted to participate it is still enjoyable to me. I personally found the challenges fun because its more based on teamwork and if one person messed up we had to redo it again. Although my team, Aquila, did not get 1st place, it was still a memorable experience. I do think that we need a bit more time to complete the challenges as we were rushing.

I think our squad can improve in our campcraft knowledge as most of us struggled during the test e.g. how to tie the knot, whats the family, whats the application and whats the function. I personally found the test difficult as I do not know how to tie most of the knots, so I think our squad can improve on our campcraft knowledge.

25 August 2023 - Friday training

1.The highlight of this friday’s training Coporal campcraft test and the bonding activity with cadets from other levels, which was a perfect away to end the last training of the term. The Coporal campcraft test was manageable. Although some of my squadmates did talk during the test which bothered our CLs. I apologise on behalf of my squad for any inconvience caused and for the misconduct displayed by my squadmates. Moving on, the bonding activity was enjoyable as I had a chance to work with cadets that I have never talked to before. Going around the school and completing task; some of which I never would have done with my squadmates and cadets from other levels. I had the chance of talking to the CLs and the Sec ones which allowed me to know them better. The housing system has allowed me to know more about cadets from other levels.

2.This week’s attire was to report in PT kit and I was content to see that everyone reported in the correct attire. Although my entire squad has worn the correct attire this week, I believe this is not the case every week. We can ensure that everyone wheres the correct attire by constantly remindiing them. I think the CLs should standerdise a simple attire so that it easier to remember to wear it.

3. Discipline is to develop yourself with self control. I can show it by doing my work correctly and constantly.

On 25 august, we had our Cpl camp craft test which me and my squamates have prepared for the past week. On the test, we had to tie many knots, tell about their functions, family and applications. It was stressful as I had also had forgotten some of the knots but I managed to do them last minute. After that, we headed out to the NP Room where we had out Games and activities. We were separated into different groups with the sec 1 and 3s . From this I had known about my seniors and juniors well. I dearly enjoyed this experience and hope to do it again someday

The CLs can help us my enforcing the grooming standards by reminding us. The CLs could inform us by messaging the cadets with problems with their grooming and inform them to fix it before the next training. Us cadets might also forget about the grooming standards. Therefore, I suggest that the CLs should type out the standards and put it in the group description

Discipline is very important in NPCC. We should not fidget during falling in and go to our destination within our timer. We should also not talk while the CLs, CIs or TOs are talking to us.
