I am really stressing over how to make sure synchronous learning happens in a healthy way for my 2nd grader.

 I am working from home and cannot stop to ensure she logs on at certain times throughout the day.  Also, my little one has had a rough go at things as of late.  She misses her friends, school family and having a normal summer terribly.  I don’t know that I can make her sit in front of a screen and behave enough to learn in a productive way while I myself am working.

That has NOT been the situation here. Furthermore, our daughter logs on at 7:45am and doesn't have a break until 12:45pm. She sits at the computer for 5 HOURS before getting a break. I'm sorry for the frustrated nature of this message, but there is a large group of 5th grade parents and students that are very disappointed in the way this started. The emotional health of these kids during an pandemic is the most important thing.  This is adding too much stress.
