Reading about history has never been so enriching an experience until my hands lay on this unputdownable book. The intriguing life history of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose unfolds before me like pearls of wisdom as I go through pages after pages of this voluminous book. Needless to say, for me this entire reading experience was irresistibly compulsive and it has really gripped my mind with a chain of thoughts and perspectives, in a way beyond my fathom. I would like to recommend this book to all the history enthusiasts (though I am quite a novice in the literal sense) to get themselves immersed in the exploration of myriad facets of the life of a towering personality like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, an experience which will never fail to impress one.

P.S- The book is available in many regional languages besides English.

By- Arindam Keot

The purpose of all true creative art, he believed, is to teach. But the message in all his stories is presented with such humour that the reader hardly realises that it is strongly didactic.
The seven parts into which this book is divided include the best known Tolstoy stories. "God sees the Truth, but waits" and "A prisoner in Caucasus" which Tolstoy himself considered as his best.
"How much Land does a Man Need" depicting the greed of a peasant for land and the most brilliantly told parable "Ivan the Fool" all these are contained in this volume
:- Pratyush Pritam Sharma
Class VI C, D.P.S Duliajan
