The film was based on the book Harry Potter and the philosopher's stone by J.K. Rowling. The film was directed by Chris Columbus. It stars Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint, Tom Felton, Richard Bremmen, etc. The film won 6 awards!!

The film was set in England in the  1900s.

Harry Potter is a child who lives with his uncle, his aunt and his cousin. In his 11th birthday Harry is visited by a mysterious guy "Rubeus Hagrid". This person tells him that Harry is a very popular wizard because he survived to Lord Voldemort when he was only one year old.
Harry goes to Hogwarts to learn spells and meet new friends, Harry discovers that the institution has the philosopher's stone. Harry has to defend it and fight against Lord Voldemort.

I recommend the film because it s awesome and the special effects are spectacular, if you like magics you have to see that!!
