In fact, there are many projects about the speed in the space . Several astronauts have been in another planet  as for example : Mars . 
The trip could last  six months to two years to arrive to Mars . So  Do you believe that It will be good for us? 

I belive that is possible  to travel to another planet in short time . Even It could be  well enough for us  because  we could discover anothers planets  that could be  colonized  by us  in case of that  Earth might collapse  and may be dangerous for the humanity .
However , in my point view  this lucky only will be for the rich people because they have much money  and they can pay it . 
So If you want to travel to another planet , You will need to have enough money.
