She was born on October 15, 1980 in South Korea. Hae's accused murderer was Adnan Syed, but many people believe it was not him. She was last seen at school the day of January 13. People claim Adnan had asked to be given a ride, but nobody saw her giving him a ride. Hae also had a new boyfriend Don that she had meet not too long ago. Hae and Adnan were on good terms at the time and people claim they really never saw the two fight. Hae's body was found buried in Leakin Park in Baltimore, Maryland. A guy by the name of Mr. S found her body. He was also a sketchy guy with a bad record. Before Hae was killed she was nice and happy without a care in the world. He was Hae's ex boyfriend. He was the main suspect and was put in prison for a life sentence after being charged. Was he really guilty though? He was a religious kid with a very religious dad. His dad spent most of his time at the holy place. Adnan had made a real reputation for himself in the community as the good kid and nobody thought that he could do anything like this. Adnan didn't have a huge thing that happened between him and Hae to make it get this far. He just didn't have a driving factor. They broke up, but he claims that there were no hard feelings. Adnan still has pleaded innocent and has not confessed to doing this since. He hasn't even told his parents that he did it and they believe their son was taken away for no reason. A few key factors against Adnan was Jays story and how convincing Jay was. He also had a few other people saying how Adnan had been acting weird that day. He also had his phone call ping off of local electricity poles which makes Adnan just have a deeper whole to dig out of. His phone pinged in Leakin park the night of the murder. Another piece of evidence against Adnan was the Nisha call. A call went out to her in the middle of the day when he said that he didn't have his phone. He was also a 17 year old boy at the time and he was the main rat out for Adnan. Jay had told the court and investigators the whole story about Adnan. Jay and Adnan were nothing super close but they were friends that would smoke weed together. Jays story began with Adnan bringing the body into his car after Adnan had strangled her to death. He says it happened at a Best Buy and Adnan called him off of the pay phone. That pay phone has no record of ever being there. Jay had also been changing his story from time to time but they chose to believe him in this case. Jaycommited to being involved in selling and owning weed. The main factor though, was the fact Jay had been telling all about how he helped Adnan burry the body. Jay also had a few people with similarites of his story. Jay was the real reason Adnan is in prison, but I really don't think Jay was the murderer. Later in the podcast it says how scared he was of who was out there. He was trembling in his boots. Can Jay be trusted? Jays motive might have been the fact Adnan was so close to his girlfriend. He has a weird claim of how he found it though. He had stopped to take a pee in the woods even though his work was about 7 minutes away. He claimed that he had had a lot of alcohol and that is the reason he had to stop, even so close to home and work. Alfonso has a bad record on his hands, for he had been known for streaking in different places. Hae's body was found very far back in the woods, so the cops aren't sure of this man. Supposedly the body could barely be seen even when knowing where it was. How was he just going to pee and spotted the body? His story is either not true or he knew where the body was. He could have been streaking through the park and came across the body. He really isn't the most trustworthy with his past record. He was asked questions and rose as a suspect, but later he was proven innocent and was free. They tracked the alcohol around Hae's body and it wasn't a kind that he drank. Could he have know where the body was? Leakin Park was known for having bodies in it. Why would he have stopped in this place if he knew that? He was so close by that he didn't even need to stop. A possible motive for him would be in the moment. She didn't provide valuable information to the case and had been saying kinda the same thing over and over again. She had a very loud and rowdy tone which could have altered the judge's thought on her. She later had her lawyer's licenses taken in another case. Christina failed to contact a women (Asia) who had claimed to have seen Adnan at the library during the time he was supposedly strangling Hae. How could a lawyer not contact a literal witness to prove that her client was innocent? Did she throw the case? She later died and could not have been asked anymore questions.
