         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li>Different situations demand solutions from different ideologies. </li><li>Ideologies can shift between subjects. </li><li>For example an educator teaching math could take a more scholar academic approach and then shift to a social reconstructionist perspective while teaching history. </li><li>We can change our ideologies to better serve our current students and their needs. </li><li>The most effective teachers are chameleons. </li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are 4 different positions educators can take with an ideology </div><ol><li>Dualistic - Educators only value one ideology with a dualistic perspective of right versus wrong. From this perspective educators see two sets of curriculum beliefs - their own and ones that are different. </li><li>Relativistic -  Educators give equal value to each viewpoint.  Curriculums opinions are viewed as equal and no belief is held higher than another. </li><li>Contextual - Educators believe that each ideology is best suited for certain purposes.  Alk ideologies are valued because they can accomplish different tasks. </li><li> Hierarchal -  Educators can differentiate between other ideologies well making a commitment to the one they value the most. </li></ol><div><br></div>]]></description>
