Objective

• to observe and understand local water sources;

• to develop students’ observation and description skills;

• to raise awareness about water protection.

TASK – Step by Step

Step 1 – Choose a water source
Pick a local water source near you: river, lake, fountain, well, pond

Step 2 – Take photos
Take 2–4 photos of the place. Try to show:

• the water itself,

• the surroundings (nature, buildings, people),

• signs of pollution (if any).

Step 3 – Add short captions
For each photo, write 1–2 simple sentences in English. You can answer questions like:

• Where is this place?

• What can you see?

• How is it used in the community?

• Is the water clean or polluted?

• Why is this water source important for people or nature?

• What problems does it face today?

• How can we protect it?

• What can young people do to help?

Step 4 – Create your photo story
Put your photos and captions into:

• a Canva slide, or

• a simple collage, or

• a Google Slide

Step 5 – Add your details
Include:

• your name(s)

• your school and country

Step 6 – Upload your work
Post your final Photo Story on Padlet.
