I have found that time used for collaboration with teachers of the same content area to be the most beneficial to my own teaching. Sharing specific lessons that we felt the students got the most out of with others has helped me to re-evaluate and incorporate new strategies into my own lessons.

I believe that the most beneficial PD is PD that is individualized and pursued by the teacher. We all have things that we want to learn about and we all want to grow as teachers, but for each of us that will look different. To be given the time to meet with colleagues who share similar PD goals would be far more beneficial that what we currently do.
