This is a very difficult situation that has been brewing for many years. One must consider how poor the Egyptian people are and how the government is subsidizing the medication. Businesses need to make a profit in order to survive but the government is not helping by limiting the prices and keeping them low. The biggest issue is the over reliance on all types of subsidies that has created a society that EXPECTS everything to be cheap rather than realizing that the rest of the world is not subsidized like Egypt.

Egypt is in a horrible situation. We are known for our cheap prices of medicine, and that's because more than 40% of the Egyptian population is under the poverty line. Yet, if the prices of medicines increased even a little in price that would cause a huge conflict and the death rate of Egyptian would greatly increase, and that was one of the reasons why the Egyptian health ministry didn't allow any companies to increase the prices. However, that way the companies are having trouble since they have expenses and production costs that they won't be able to pay if the prices stayed the same. Overall, that is a huge crisis that stands between the company owners and the Egyptians that are suffering from poverty.

Egyptians are suffering the high prices of medicine. Many patients visit pharmacies because they want insulin, but they don't find any. Drug shortage is a serious issue that the government should solve. However, Egypt has struggled to earn enough dollars since 2011. This caused pharmaceutical companies to pay a lot of money in order buy medicine. As a result, these companies have to raise the prices, but the government does not allow them since Egyptians would not be able to afford these high prices. The government should find a solution to solve this issue since the companies are suffering, as well as Egyptians.

Due to the insane increase in dollar exchange rate and availability in the market. the increase of dollar exchange rate cause an insane increase in prices all over the market. this effected the imports and the exports, since the companies had to buy dollars from the black market they will have to increase the prices to balance the equation and create a profit. Since Egypt imports all the raw substances and materials for medicine and manufacture it here under licensing agreements. this is why the costs are going up and a lot of people are struggling to afford medicine.

The situation that is explained in this article is a major crisis that has to be solved sooner or later. The rise of the exchange rate of the dollar since the uprising in 2011, has scared foreign investors. This has affected the economy as well as the amount of dollars in the banks. This shortage in the banks has made the pharmaceutical companies not able to pay other foreign companies in order to import certain medicine.

Egypt is suffering her worst currency crash, it's a very difficult situation for poor, middle class, and even business man mainly. Everything is increasing in price, even the essential things we need, in order to be alive. Health care has been very bad since a long time, but now a days, it is disappearing. People can't find the medicines they need and experienced doctors don't want to work anymore as they don't get a good profit or living. Most of our medicines are imported and even the ones made in the country, are not good enough to cure sick people. The government should focus more on education and health care in order to resolve this major problem.

This article talks about how the Egyptians are suffering due to the increase in the dollar and the other currencies. The ingredients are getting expensive because the dollar increased, but the government is not allowing the companies to increase their prices so right now a lot of medicines are not provided because the companies cant afford them anymore.

Egyptians are suffering due to the lack of medicines, and also because about 45% of the Egyptian population is living below the poverty line, it is hard for them to purchase the medicine they need. Now, that the dollar has increased from 8 pounds to 18 pounds makes medicines much more expensive and this can hurt a lot of people because they won't be able to buy the medicine required for their survival. If medicines run out in Egypt the government, will have to import medicines, for a more expensive price, this will lead to selling the drugs for a much higher price than normal. The government should find a solution to solve this issue, otherwise we will die.
