Unilever is a diversified organization because its middle (intermediate) level seems to be the most important arch in sustaining the company. They have a management committee which is split into 5 main departments.
They are a multinational which has many other brands under its umbrella. Therefore, the managing the different departments and brands is crucial.

It has a vertical downward internal communication flow. Directors>Supervisors>Managers>Departments>Employees

The main role of an internal communication professional in Unilever’s case would be very complex. There are many levels on which this company operates, meaning that each brand in Unilever has its own management system but nevertheless, still needs general coordination between the levels.
There would probably be at least one IC professional for each brand and each of them would then communicate on their own level to supply sufficient information between the brands and their levels.

Possible jobs: Business partnering marketing and other internal stakeholders in any media related issues
-Coordinating media deals and partnerships
-The development of overall media strategy and driving execution
-Creating the communications plan for different oral care innovations and activities across all brands
- Plan communication on events, training and incentive program to boost up sales volume
- Builds productive working relationship with Customer Development to manage the brand’s day to day operations, and external partners and agencies.
