The map of the parks’ locations in the city was great! It would be good to see photos of what the parks look like too so we have a sense of what people see that was accounted for in the studies

I liked how you gave a general context for the topic in the first few slides and related it to our experience in BC, for example by using the quiz on the first slide

It was interesting to have two different case studies but I think it also came at the risk of loosing some detail. Maybe focusing on only one would allow for more in depth analysis. Both examples were very interesting and well chosen!

The role of perceived biodiversity is sort of disappointing in a way, with studies showing that the impact to us is not dependent on how species rich the forest actually is…it does not Help incentivise biodiversity measures :(

I liked your use of the bird stuffed animal as a prop and the poll at the beginning to catch our interest. A couple areas for improvement could be to reduce the amount of words on the slides and use a more conversational tone

I think the slides could have less text. The methods and experimental design of the papers could go in the notes, and just put the main findings of the experiments on the slide

in the second example it would be great to have some of the graphics, plus more detail on what is 'restorative perception"

Bringing it back to BC at the end with reference to the data about resident use or lack of use of parks would have been great! What are the practice implications of getting more BC residents to experience forests?

on the figure with the maps of specific parks it would be nice to line up the results of low disturbance with the mapped figure, and of high disturbance with that figure (instead they were reversed) - plus the place names were kind of distracting (picky point)
