Throughout the afternoon, we watched another video called 'The Chaos Interview', which was based off the interview from The Boys. We looked at it and analysed it as well. After that, we were put into random groups for our skill build and were picking out categories of what an FMP might look like to us, we got adverts. For our skill build, we did our advertisement (radio and visual based) on the energy drink, monster.

I decided to research the documentary from the band Machine Head, they had documented each session from their times in the studio making their album “The Blackening”, as i would be recording several sessions in the studio to show the difficulties of making and creating a song from scratch, due to my idea of creating a documentary for my FMP this term, I have developed many new skills in the musical aspect and the media aspect, such as where to play fills and where to keep a simple consistent pattern in my drumming for the song The Love Reaper and many other songs in the future, it has helped me identify who i am comfortable playing with and who I am not comfortable playing with, in the media aspect I have learnt new skills in editing such as separating the audio from the video to insert other clips over the audio, while learning that I also learnt how to decrease the volume of some clips or background audio tracks and that you don't always have to use every second of every clip to make something good and watchable for the target audience you wish to watch this video, i had to overcome many obstacles this term in my personal life and my life in my media work, I came across problems such to do with audio and video, in some videos I could not use some of the drums were incapable of hearing as they were drained out by the guitar and the cymbals, I also had to cut out some clips from the videos with me and Jake because the guitar would also get drained out by the cymbals on the drumkit, another problem I would come across would be the video, sometimes the quality would drop or the angle of the camera would not fit the target in completely, In the editing step for my FMP some of the uploaded videos would not fit in the screen completely so I had to figure out how to make sure the screen would be able to fit the whole video in without making anything look stretched or squashed, I overcame that issue quite quickly because it was quite easy, I overcame the problems I had with audio by either cutting those clips out of putting a jacket next to the microphone to dampen the audio of the cymbals and hopefully pick the rest of the audio up, it worked, I found out how to overcome the video problem by simply just moving the camera or the targets around to fit in the frame of the video, I have shown people my FMP for some peer feedback and to get some critical points of improvement and people told me to put text in the first introductions of the interviewees to give them a publicised personality and so it wasn't entirely about my contribution to the band Seismic Wave and had more story behind my personality and what I had done to the song to make it unique. 

If I had done the project again I would have attempted to professionally record the audio for the song and not only get the audio of my drumming but also the audio of my vocals and jakes contribution on the guitar and bass to give the audience the full taste and privilege of seeing the behind the scenes of the making of the greatest song ever, The Love Reaper. 

In Conclusion, I have worked through several obstacles to get my FMP done, not onlt for the satisfaction of completing my media work but also for the satisfaction of my childhood dream of someday making something to do with my musical talent and understanding.
