This image makes me think of Social Studies 8 lessons because it relates to the violence people of color endured during the beginning of the U.S.. 

• This art piece reminds me of all the protests that occurred in 2020, especially the ones around George Floyd and The BLM Movement. This was a time when people were speaking up about the mistreatment of people of color, especially ones done by people in positions of power.

This piece reminds me of Positive thinking for the life of prayer. BMIKEs use of the color yellow makes me think positively. If BMIKE focused on darker colors in this piece, I don't think I'd feel the same.
