In Hanukkah my family, relatives and friend come to visit and celebrate the holiday with us.

We always have a table full of menorahs sweets and Dreidels that me and my brothers had collected.

We gather around the table and turn off all the lights, then we light all the menorahs.

After that we eat 'sfinge', 'choros' and donuts (sufganiot) that my mother had made.

After the party, my relatives are staying over to sleep and in the following morning we eat a big breakfast then go out to a trip.

Hi,
This Hanuka my family and I are going to London to celebrate Hanuka with our friends and family in England.

This Hanukiah was given to us by my grandparents.
My family always light the candles using it.

We light the Hanukiah and then sing some Hanuka songs and have dinner together.

I like Hanuka because I like the songs and the story of Hanuka.

I can't wait to this Hanuka because we are going away.

My name is Jonathan every year in Hanukkah my family and I are going to my grandparents house to light the Hanukiah.

Every year we eat a big and delicious dinner and we sing Hanukka songs.

This Hanukiah is not very special beacouse my grandma bought it in the shop.

and i my favorite food to eat in Hanukia is sfinge and cnaydlah in soup.

השם שלי באשה לאה. אני לא יודעה מאיפה החנוכייה. זה נותן לי האבא שלי. אין לי מושג איפה הוא השיג את זה. היא ישנה מאוד. אחד הנרות נשבר. אני ובני משפחתי הולכים לפלורידה מדי שנה לחנוכה. זה תמיד כל כך כיף להדליק את הנרות מול האוקיינוס.

Hi my name is Orkida but everybody call me Kida. I´m from Albania and I come in Canada 9 months ago . This is my first Hanukkah ever. My friends told me about the Greek invaded Israel and tried to take over and make the Jews become a Greek. There was a war between the Jews and the Greek but the Jews were out evened. It was a miracle the Jews won the war. Then they went back to the temple and saw that there was only enough oil for one night but the second miracle made it last for eight nights.

Maor’s Hanukkah

Every year we celebrate Hanukkah in our home.

We always light candles in this Hanukiah (look at the picture below).

We received this Hanukiah from my uncle Ziv.

This Hanukiah is made from metal and was built by my uncle 50 years ago.

I live in Lehavot Hbashan in the north of israel.
I am 11.5 years old.
our HANUKIAH was made by my grate grandfather with the same HANUKIAH wich he made to the first P.M.of Israel - David Ben Guryon.
the same HANUKIAH is standing in the Ben Guryon's hut in Sde Boker.
I am vary proud to toch in part of Israel's lagacy.
I love HANUKAH because it is vary warm and family holiday, i like eating sufganiot and singing HANUKAH songs.
