This event is extremely important since it transformed Britain in an industrial country. The phenomenon of Industrialisation made possibile the change to powered machinery. Development of the steam engine was also made.Moreover, home made production transformed into large scale production. However,the Industrial Revolution had its downsides such as deteriorated working conditions. But what made Industrial Revolution possible? The answer is the accumulation of wealth and resources in the colonies. People’s lives in the early stages of the revolution were obviously reshaped according to the production’s necessity.

The majority of people lived in terrible poverty and bad working conditions and the air was polluted by factory smoke. People had to work sixteen hours per day and women were paid less than men. Moreover,children were exploited and their  were paid less than adults.
