1. It could've been avoided if the king would've just listened to the colonists

a. They sent many letters to the king saying that the king forced the soldiers into war. Still, they begged for the kings' forgiveness because the soldiers abused the king's power and that the colonists would help the king settle peace throughout every part of their Dominions.

b. The colonists raided the town and tared the tax people so technically, they told the king to stop taxing them but he didn't listen so they dumped tea into the harbor.

c. The king refused the concerns when Paul and Will rode through the countryside waring everyone about the british.

a. Loyalists changed a lot of minds and if they weren't as strong or if there wasn't as many that was there at the time then some of this stuff wouldn't happen

b. Loyalists could change minds, its like a debate, someone's mind could change because someone could say the right thing, that's what loyalists did.

c. Loyalists were typically upper class so even more people would listen to them. Loyalist usually supported the king/queen so even if the king was a stupid action the loyalists still praised to them.

a. He said that " Can a reasonable being for a moment believe that Great Britain, whose political existence depends on our constitutional obedience, who but yesterday made such prodigious efforts to save us from France, will not exert herself as powerfully to preserve us from our frantic schemes of independency? Can we a moment doubt, that the Sovereign of Great Britain and his ministers, whose glory as well as personal safety depends on our obedience, will not exert every nerve of the British power, to save themselves and us from ruin.

b. Until the present unhappy period, Great Britain has afforded to all mankind, the most perfect proof of her wise, lenient, and magnanimous gov. of the colonies.

c. Volumes were insufficient to describe the horror, misery and desolation, awaiting the people at large in the syren form of America independence. in short, I affirm that it would be most excellent policy in those whos wish for true liberty to submit by an advantageous reconciliation to the authority of Great Britain.
