Both of them have a chance of have a roll model and practices some of their best examples in their success. Some that was thought full to me from the essay was Jay Z was about " School never challenger him, but he scoured the dictionary for words to use" ( page-356) in Walton - " "Money Never has meant that much to me" ( Page 351)

It's a great question that what people think about success. Success to Mr Sam is more than making money, such as self-development. "and he would wander over and spend hours studying how the competition did thing"(page 352). Especially I learned that spending hours studying about competition is a Sam's lifelong habit. I'm really impressed because that's not common habit for everyone. Critical thinking and intelligent brain are important to reach success. Hardworking is not the only quality. And critical thinking and intelligence could come from self-development and reflection. Whoever wants to be successful, they must understand what they should do for it.

There was one major theme that stood out the most for me when it came to Jay Z. That he worked hard to get to where he was and that he never made it personal for himself or anyone else. Jay Z was all about a goal and he made sure he did what ever it took to make them goals and dreams come true. There is one quote that really stood out to me and that was, "It doesn't matter what percentage the story is that a black kid from a single-parent house made it from the Marcy projects about six minutes away from here, So the fact that I have any ownership in this franchise is fucken amazing. " pg 361 This quote makes me really look at my life and what i really need to do to be and become successful in my life and for my family..

Sam Walton and Jay Z have cut throat attitudes about success. They are focused, driven, and hardworking. The way Walton treated his employees were manipulating, and this makes me angry. He appeared to care about his employees but that was the manipulation as his employees are described as a, "folksy personality cult" (p 354). Why is it that minimum wage worker's like me feel so inferior by our bosses? Jay Z , can he too have the same attitudes toward"s his employees? He has been sued by his employees , he definately has made his mark on the world. I have to respect the both of these successful men because their tunnel vision is probably what made their success. We know Walton wouldn't of done anything different, but I wonder if Jay Z feels the same way about his journey to success.

Both men are driven, naturally born businessman, smart and ambitious.
Jay Z as a good example of having a bigger goals and bring your ideas to the lives. Believing in yourself will optimize person's chances to succeed. No matter where you came from: poor family, foreign country and unsupported parents, you gotta believe in yourselves and let your mind and talents take you on a great life journey.
Sam Walton's clear thinking as a businessmen - better to sale thousands of products for cheap, then only few of the same products for a higher price. By proving your products for others cheaper is could be seen as a cheap jester OR as a chance for poor to be able to afford stuff.

One of the major themes that stood out to me , was jay z getting into trouble and having the ability to get off good. Their experience is connected to success because they were both motivated from there situation to make a change. How can i reach the level that you are in ?

My response about Sam Walton and Jay Z, they both came from nothing which means low income families but had an ideal about how to change their lifestyles and become successful.
What i thought was surprising was how Jay Z became a successful businessman by becoming an rapper than entrepreneur. Sam has a successful business "Walmart" that went nation wide.
The major themes that stood out to was when Jay Z mentioned " After a decade of of hustling he decided to see if he could make as much money selling records as he did selling rocks" (Packer 358). Their experience is connected to success because they both had a dream and accomplished it within a matter of time. The questions that i have is there a timeline for individual success.
