B: We are going to listen to hardcore music while throwing tomatoes.

A: Where will be the tomato war?

B: It's going to be in the whole town on Sunday at 12:00 o'clock.

A: Are you going to bring something else?

C: I'm going to bring a tomato cannon.

Josué: We're going to have a community party with music and a lot of food, like rice with chicken.

Santiago: Oh, that's nice, and what type of music are we having?

Josué: We're having music like "swing criollo" and it's going to take place in the church community hall.

Santiago: I love swing criollo, it's memorable. Since the town is turning 500 years on October 18th we're going to have the party that day, aren't we?

Josué: Yeah, it is going to take place that day at midday.

Santiago: What do you think about a pole dancing competition?

Josué: Yeah, we will have a pole dancing competition, why not?

H2: I think we can do a big picnic. I will prepare everything for the picnic

J:It’s ok, for food we will eat “gallo pinto”, it’s traditional food and everyone love it.

H:That’s good! We are going to decide if we play some music or not. I think we won’t play music to do a relaxing space. What place are will we going?

H2: The Sabana is a great place because is too big and a lot of people will go.

J: It could be on October 20, at 9:00 am, everyone will be available in that date and time.

H: that’s good, I am going to send the information to the people here in San José!

Carlos: First, what kind of celebration should we have?

Xotchil: How about a parade and a tiny concert in the evening?

Anthony: I love that. And we can end with a costume party!

Oscar: Great! I’ll buy the mask. What about the food?

Xotchil: We can have local dishes — tamales, empanadas, chifrijo and arroz con leche.

Anthony: I’ll organize the food stands.

Oscar: Nice. What kind of music should we play?

Xotchil: Traditional music during the day, and a live band at night.

Anthony: I’ll contact the musicians.

Oscar: Where should we hold it?

Xotchil: On the Ciudad Deportiva Gym — it’s perfect for everyone.

Anthony: Yes, and we’ll decorate it with Lanterns and flags.

Oscar: When do we do it?

Xotchil: Saturday, September 15th, from 10 a.m. to midnight.

Anthony: Perfect! Let’s invite the whole town.

Oscar: Sounds like a plan! This will be our best celebration ever.

Xotchil: I can’t wait to see it all come together.

Anthony: Let’s make history — 500 years strong!

B: How about a festival followed by a parade?

C: Good idea. And we can sell typical food and snacks during the festival.

B: For the music, how about typical music, using instrument like the marimba?

A: Great. But, when do we do it?

C: How about the actual day? We can do the festival since in the afternoon, and the parade in the early evening.

A: The place?

C: The central park.

B: And decorations?

A: I can plant flags in the corners and center of the park. We also have some decoration lights and ribbons in store.

B: I will go prepare the vendor stands.
