There were ten major centers, but more specifically, we were asked to learn about the Granada War Relocation Center in Colorado. Something we thought was interesting was that the center, also called "Amache", was named after the daughter of the Cheyenne Chief Ochi-nee. We were surprised to learn that the rooms at the camp were rushed, so the conditions were bad. Since the internees weren't allowed to bring their things, they had to make their own shelves and crude furniture made from already discarded wood.
