 - "you ain't gonna say a word" It shows that George has to control him, because he isn't mentally mature enough to lead their interview. 
 - "Lennie, who had been watching, imitated George exactly." This particular sentence and many others show that he depends on George to live and to do any social interaction.
- "this Curley punk is gonna get hurt if he messes around with Lennie" We can assume from this sentence that he is very impulsive and has a hard time controlling his feelings, which can lead to his physique taking over.
- "She jerks back and you hold on like it was a mouse" He has a tendency to hold on too strongly to things. When he finds something soft, he holds on to it with his whole life. He learned that their were things he couldn't do, things that weren't ethical.
- "Got kinda used to each other after a little while." He has been taking care of Lennie since quite a long time.
- "I ain't sure it's good water" He has some knowledge that shows us he is more educated or at least mentally better than Lennie.
- "George took the mouse and threw it across the pool" He takes care of Lennie by also teaching him the good manors and the good ethics. He is a role model for Lennie.
- "George shivered and looked at the gun, and then he threw it from him" This scene shows that he had to make a choice and that he feels turned upside down. On one side he did it to keep himself safe, but on another side he just betrayed and killed his own brother.
