I have always had a HUGE interest in animals. Owl's have always been one of those many animal interests. I haven't had time in a while to just sit down and study my animals so I loved getting to do this project. I hope that after reading this you will feel the same way too.
     Barn Owls lay up to an average of 3-4 eggs. Barn Owls are usually about an average size of 13-16 inches. The average weight of a Barn Owl is 0.95-1.4 pounds. Barn Owls live to about 4 years old. They live in rough grasslands with big rodent populations. They love living in rough grasslands by watercourses. 
 Barn Owls eat rats, mice, voles, lemmings and other different kinds of rodents. But they really like eating mostly voles. They don't eat squirrels or Chipmunks because squirrels and Chipmunks don't roam at night. Barn Owls just hunt when it's dark. Because of habitat lose Barn Owls are declining in numbers but they are not are #1 concern.
Fun Fact #1: The most amount of eggs a(n) Barn Owl has ever laid is 13 eggs!
