  • Ice glaciers in the colder areas like the north and south pole are slowly melting. 
  •  As ice all over the world melt, sea levels are gradually increasing causing floods in many areas of the world like cities and countryside impacting many people living in that certain area. 
  • Intense heat waves have also increased. Droughts in areas are more prominent. Farming is much harder because of plants dying, rivers and lakes are breaking apart, and forest fire are starting.
  • The amount of heat the ocean absorbs has increase damaging coral reefs, disrupting marine ecosystems and global fisheries. It has also altered the patterns of ocean circulation.
  • The surface of the ocean has increased in temperature which could potentially increase destructive tropical cyclones and hurricanes.
