-  It was one of the oldest recorded battles in history.

- In this battle, King Ramses fought Hittites with his smaller army of 20,000 people while Hittites had 50,000 people.

- Later Hittites and King Ramses II granted a peace.

-Even though they had a peace treaty, Hittites and Egypt always fought over the region that today is Lebanon, Israel, parts of Jordan, and Syria.
