A reflector reflects or redirects direct light onto a subject.

2.  Do you think the reflector helped or hindered the portraits outside? Why or why not?
I think the reflector helped the outside portraits because of the time we took our pictures. Our natural light pictures were taken towards the end of the school day, meaning the direct light would have made photos look bad. They were a definite help.

3. What did you think of the studio lighting? Did you like the background? Why or why not?
Personally, I liked the studio lighting best. The backgrounds were plain, making them easily ignored which makes the portraits's subject stand out even more. The studio lighting was excellent, making the photos come out very great.

4. Were your favorite shots of the natural light or the studio lighting? Why?
My favorite shots came out of the natural light, mostly because we had no real idea what we were doing. Every photo was taken spontaneously, making them much more natural, in my opinion.

5. Which one was your favorite photograph of the eight? Why?
Of the eight, my favorite is the photo of Litzy holding the gold reflector up to her face. the shot was taken when she was just messing with it, and the gold reflection created a nice glow on her face that I really like.

6.What do you think you learned the most about portrait photography with this project? How do you think it will affect your future photos you take of people?
With this project, I think I learned most about the power of a reflector and spontaneity. In future photos of people I think I'll pay closer attention to the shadows and how to get the best light reflection.
