 The Ancient Egyptians would pry the limestone blocks from underground, and they would cut the limestone  with copper chisels. These chisels had traces of arsenic in them, which was the only reason that the Ancient Egyptians were able to cut the limestone.
The granite could not be  cut by a copper alloy, but if a copper saw with no teeth was covered in sand, the quartz in the sand would cut the granite. Although this did work, it would take decades to cut the granite used in the Great Pyramid.

To chose the site I would look for a spot with really strong bedrock that way it would be able to hold many million tons. It would need to be near water so I can put in water canals so I can level the site and get the granite sent up the river. It would also need to big enough and somewhat level so it is not to hard to level the ground. When the boats arrived the  stones would be hauled on to the land. Once on the sand water would be poured on the path of the stone to make it easier to pull. The people that were pulling the stone wouldn't be the skilled workers doing the building. They would be regular people that worked for slightly smaller payment.

Evidence from incomplete pyramids shows that these ramps spiraled around the pyramid. This is likely, because it would use the least amount of stones and manpower to build this type of ramp.
The pyramids show that the stones on the outside of the pyramid, and the stones in the inner chambers and passageways were fit so closely that you could not fit a credit card in between the blocks. However, some of the interior blocks were stuffed together with rubble, and limestone shards.
On my pyramid, I would be more careful with the interior blocks, to improve the stress capacity of the pyramid.

By the time somebody found the passage, the little sandstone protrusions in the passage that served as stairs would have worn away. The passageway could only be accessed by a hidden hole near the pyramid that led through the foundation and to the passageway.
